Moving It Forward ~ DO IT YOURSELF

Are you tired of these blocks yet? Sorry but it is the one thing I've moved forward this week. I really pushed myself this weekend to finish these scrappy string blocks and put them into a flimsy. It made a small dent in my strings and I'm thrilled with the results. All that color makes me happy.

Hoping that Tuesday I'll be able to baste it though I don't know if I'll get it quilted this week. My hubby is adopted and after much searching has found his birth parents. They have both passed away. I'm sad for him. But he has found aunts and uncles and even a couple half siblings. We are going this weekend to meet them and exchange photos and stories. Pretty exciting stuff.
