Happy Friday! I hope you all enjoyed your week! We have a festive bundle to share with you today! :) You can't start thinking about Christmas projects too early! Be sure to scroll down to see what I made with this week's bundle:
Sew Merry |

Each bundle includes 8 different prints, as pictured.
Fabrics included:

- Floribella Green Stripes - Riley Blake
- Reason For the Season Red Filigree - Wilmington Prints
- Purely Christmas Cream Snowflakes - Henry Glass
- Daily Grind Green Dot - Quilting Treasures
- Purely Christmas Red Stars & Trees - Henry Glass
- Le Creme Swiss Dots Red - Riley Blake
- Postcards For Santa Gold Sparkle Stripes - Riley Blake
I couldn't wait to dive into this bundle of Christmas fabric! I love that it is "Christmasy" but not over the top. I decided it would be very pretty to make some log cabin blocks out of the bundle and sew them into an easy table topper!
I love how it turned out! It is simple, yet festive! It would look lovely to make a lot more blocks and turn it into a Christmas quilt! One can never have enough Christmas quilts! ;)
Let's get started:
Supplies:
2/3 yard of backing
Cutting for one block:
2 - 2" x 12.5" strips (A)
2 - 2" x 9.5" strips (B)
2 - 2" x 6.5" strips (C)
2 - 2" x 3.5" strips (D)
1 - 3.5" x 3.5" square (E)
Piece your log cabin blocks as pictured below. Make 2 green blocks with red centers, and 2 red blocks with green centers.
Sew the blocks into a 2 x 2 layout:
That's it! You could add a border if you would like, or keep it as is - like I did! Then you are ready to baste, quilt and bind! :)-----------------------------------------------
Now that we shared our fabric for the week, we want to see yours!
Here is your chance to link up anything to do with fabric! You can link up finished quilts, a work in progress, a new fabric you just bought, a project made with fabric, or maybe you just want to show off some of your stash. Anything goes--as long as it has to do with fabric!
