Tuesday Tutorial ~ Mile a Minute Log Cabins

The log cabin block is a tried, tested and trusted block. It is one of my favorites. 

 In fact my first quilt was a log cabin quilt. Here it is faded, worn and well loved.

Our family's Christmas quilt that we sleep under the week before Christmas to ensure that all our Christmas dreams come true is also a log cabin.

 I made this quilt for one of my sons long ago out of an American Patchwork and Quilting magazine. I housed my bloggy friends with giant log cabin blocks in this quilt and my wonky roses are a version of a log cabin block
