Moving It Forward

I had a wonderful time at Bryce last week. I just love spending time with quilters. It was so good to touch base with Melissa and Sherri again. It seems the only time I get see with these fun, kind and talented ladies is when we teach at the same retreat.
Teaching went well.  I'll share more of that later this week. And the class I took from Bonnie was great. Did you know we are sisters? Well, not exactly. It's just that people mistake me for mother, Brenda's daughter at all the retreats. The fact that we have the same last name and everyone knows Brenda designs with her daughter throws them. Fortunately Brenda claims me. And now I've met my sister, Bonnie.
The class was a mystery. My first. I've never had the confidence to cut into my fabrics for a quilt not knowing what I'd be making. The fact that this was scrappy, gave me the confidence I needed. I figured my scraps play nice and I'd be happy with whatever the results were.  I am! I was able to get almost half my blocks done. Above are the results. Thanks Bonnie for a great class.
Now it's your turn. Link up and share your progress. I'm looking forward to being inspired by all the great work you do.
