I've continued my wedge play this week. As I continue my love affair with my random strips bin. This bin is a bit like Mary Poppins's bag.
Scrappy Log was pulled from this bin, along with
Change for a Jelly Roll.
I'm still working on a name for this one. The shape the wedges make remind me of lava lamps. They also remind me of beads. I feel the quilt has a hippie/bohemian vibe. So maybe the name should have something to do with that.
I'm thinking of doing some big stitch in the background area. I think it will add a nice dimension to the quilt.
The hand work should give me time to figure out the right name.
