It's been an exciting week. I always love this time of year; the rebirth of spring, and Sarah's H2H. The quilts have already started to roll in. I wanted to take pictures but the weather has not cooperated. It is currently snowing and has been flitting between snow and rain all weekend. Later this week we could hit 70*. Oh spring is a fickle girl. When that warmer, dryer weather hits I'll take pictures of some of the wonderful Quilty Hugs that have arrived. Thank you everyone for your generosity.

Spring also brings graduation and big plans for the future. I have two children graduating this spring; my Anna from high school and Josh from college. Last Thursday Anna and I attended an orientation at the college she will be attending. I can't believe my baby is at this stage in her life. She has become quite a wonderful young lady. I'm excited and happy for her, but a little sad for myself. It's hard to say goodbye to this stage of my life. I know that she will still call and need me. I still do this with my mom. But it won't be the same and I'm a little worried about being lonely now that all my children are grown. Anyone else feel this way? How are you coping?
As I ponder these changes and avoid the weather I've been working my way through a pile of basted quilts. What have you been moving forward while you deal with the changes and challenges of your life? Are you like me? Does quilting bring peace and healing? Link up and share your progress.Read More
