The alternate block for border 3 is a cute little house to nestle between your trees.
Cutting: From background for each house 1- 6 1/2" x 1" rectangle, 2- 5 1/2" x 1" rectangles, 2- 2" squares, 2- 4" x 1" rectangles (If you cut strips from wof fabric yesterday you can use those here)
From house fabric for each house 1- 4 1/2" x 1" rectangle, 1- 4 1/2" x 1 1/2" rectangle, 2- 2" x 1 3/4" rectangles, 2- 1 1/4" x 1" rectangles, and 1- 2" x 1 1/4" rectangle
1- 5 1/2" x 2" rectangle for roof, 1- 1 3/4" x 1 1/2" rectangle for door, and 2- 1 1/4" squares for windows.
From green 1- 6 1/2" x 1" rectangle
Sew a 1 1/4" x 1" house rectangle to each of your windows.
Sew the 2" x 1 1/4" house rectangle between your two window units.Draw a diagonal line through your 2" background squares. Place on each end of your 5 1/2" x 2" roof rectangle and sew on drawn line. Trim seam allowance and press back.
Sew your 1 3/4" x 1 1/2" door piece between the 2" x 1 3/4" house rectangles. Sew the 4 1/2" x 1" house rectangle on top of the door unit.
Sew your window unit to the top of this and then add the 4 1/2" x 1 1/2" house rectangle to the top of that.
Sew a 4" x 1" background rectangle to the sides of your house unit and then sew the roof unit to the top of that.
Sew the 6 1/2" X 1 background rectangle to the top and the 6 1/2" x 1" and the 6 1/2" x 1" green rectangle to the bottom
Make 12 of these if you have the smaller 2" bow tie border
Make 14 of these if you have the larger 2 1/2" bow tie border
