Happy Finish

This happy little quilt is one I made back when my toe was broken and I couldn't drive. My dear neighbor rescued me and bought the orange fabric.  You may remember I misplaced the fabric.  I still haven't found it.  It is hiding so well in my sewing room. Once I was able to drive again, I got it basted.  It's been sitting in a stack waiting to be quilted since.  Now that my shoes match, funny story about that in a moment.  I'm getting through the pile.  I did a simple stipple and it went very fast.  YEA!
Now let me share with you a funny thing that happened at the post office recently.  I was still in the protective shoe but able to drive.  While waiting in line at the post office a cute little three year old, behind me in line, asked her mom if I was unable to find my other shoe.  She figured that was why my shoes didn't match.  Her mamma was embarrassed.  It just made me laugh.
Yesterday I had a fun day with the Layton Quilt Guild teaching this quilt.  The ladies were delightful.  It was fun to see their sheep come together.  I took a video for my Instagram story but forgot to take pictures.  I hope they will share their finished quilts with me.
