If you've read this blog for very long you know, my solution to full scrap bins is a scrap quilt designed around that full bin. Well my random strips bin, that bin I dump all the strips that don't quite reach the full width on my Accuquilt strip cutters, trimmings from quilt backs, or strips that just randomly happen in my other sewing. It was overflowing. Not the first time, probably won't be the last.
So my solution was to start a new scrappy spiderweb quilt. Since I was making the blocks anyway, I thought I would share a tutorial with you. So I made new YouTube video. Hope you like it.If you subscribe to my newsletter you will receive the kite template in today's newsletter. Haven't subscribed yet? It's not to late to get your template.
