Scrappy Stars and Roses at Bryce Winter Retreat

Tomorrow, after my Quilty Hug sew in, Ruth and I are heading to Bryce for our annual winter retreat.  I'll be teaching my Braveheart and Wonky Rose Garden quilts.
In my Braveheart class the students will have the choice between making a quilt or a table runner.  My pattern comes with instructions for both. I recently made a video on how to make the flying geese part of these stars, just in case you are interested in making a few flying geese.
I love teaching my Wonky Rose Garden.  This free form quilt is a fun make.  Each rose turns out different.  Once you wrap your head around the improv piecing you'll be making a whole rose garden.  I love how the scrappiness of this quilt gives it an impressionist art look.
