Unboxing and Boxing

This little box of pretties arrived from Fat Quarter Shop.   I had noticed that cute fat eighth bundle on a recent Flash Sale.  And since it is ALWAYS more fun to pay for fabric than shipping I went ahead and did a little more shopping.  I already have ideas for most of these.
After unboxing my fabric finds, I started boxing up projects for my upcoming retreat.  No teaching at this one.  Just lots of fun sewing with friends.  First these improvisational snowball blocks.  I'm hoping to receive some more happy mail with more of the Kona poppy I'm using for the background.  Otherwise I'll only be able to make a few more blocks.
I also hoping to make progress on my x and + blocks.  Want to make a few of your own?  Watch my YouTube video.
I also cut out another Picnic in the Park quilt.  It's always good to have a baby quilt handy.  Plus I think it will be fun to take this into the mountains when the wild flowers start to bloom.
While these are probably enough projects to keep me busy.  I have high hopes of getting even more done.  So I'm also bringing my scrappy spiderweb quilt.  Learn how to make this one with my Scrappy Spiderweb video.
