Medallion Quilt Along Border 4 part 2

Welcome to part two of border 4 of the medallion quilt along.  

For each corner stone block you will need 6- 1 1/2" background squares, 6- 1 1/2" scrappy squares, 2- 3" background squares and 2- 3" scrappy squares. 2- 2 1/2" background squares

Sew your 1 1/2" squares into 3- four patches.  

 Draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of your 3" background square.  Place right sides together with a 3" scrappy square and sew 1/4" on either side of the line you drew.  Cut on line.  Press open and square up to 2 1/2".

Arrange your pieces as shown 

 and sew together.  Make 4

 Sew one to each end of your top and bottom borders as shown.  Sew your borders to the top and bottom of your quilt.
